THE EDGE READING SERIES
at Bridge Street Books presents
ANSELM BERRIGAN
& JAMIE PEREZ
Anselm Berrigan's recent books include Primitive State, from Edge Books, and Come In Alone, from Wave. Primitive State is a scroll of demented fortune cookies and Come In Alone is what happens when Donald Judd is cheered up by My Bloody Valentine. He is the poetry editor of The Brooklyn Rail, a part-time this or that on demand, and is editing a book of interviews from the Poetry Project Newsletter, which Wave Books will publish next year.
Jamie Perez helped direct Narrow House and published the online weekly Rock Heals. His work has appeared in places like Fence, Fanzine, and Everyday Genius. His chapbook, There Were Rivers Before There Were People is just out from Big Lucks in May 2016. Jamie lives and believes in Baltimore.
