Bruce Andrews is an experimental poet, performance artist, literary theorist & a just-retired (after 38 years) left-wing professor of political science. Most recent of a dozen or so big books is last year’s You Can’t Have Everything... Where Would You Put It!, followed by a chapbook, Yessified (Sally’s Edit) to help celebrate the December 2012 Andrews Symposium & expanded web archive. As Musical Director for Sally Silvers & Dancers, he has created sound designs and, in performance, live mixes of music & text for over two decades of performances. New projects involve aesthetic theorizing on the sublime, post-punk art-rock lyrics, designing a wiki-based group project (for poetry translation into German & Brazilian Portuguese), research on Alfred Hitchcock (for Sally’s choreography), & archiving.
P. Inman grew up on Long Island. His publications include: Ocker (Tuumba Press, Berkeley); Red shift (Roof, New York); vel (O Books, Oakland); ad finitum (if p then q, Manchester, UK); and most recently per se (Burning Deck, Providence). written, 1976-2012 is forthcoming in late 2013 from if p then q. His work has been published in Ron Silliman’s influential anthology of Language poetry In the American Tree (2001) as well as several other anthologies.
